The Profile screen holds your personal account details: your photo, name and contact details, your password and how you receive notifications. Changes here affect only your own account, not your teammates.
Open it from the sidebar: Other → Profile.
Personal details
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Photo | Your avatar. Click Upload photo (or Replace photo) to choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP image up to 2 MB; use the trash icon to remove it. |
| Full name | Your name as teammates see it, for example in assignments and the audit log. |
| The email you sign in with. It can't be changed here. | |
| Phone | Optional contact phone. |
| Timezone | Your time zone. Leave it — not set — if you don't need it. |
Click Save changes at the bottom of the page to save the details. The button is active only when something has changed.
Password
Click Change password, then enter your Current password, a New password (at least 8 characters, different from the current one) and Confirm new password. Click Send confirmation link.
For your security, the new password does not take effect immediately: LocalUp emails you a confirmation link, and the password changes only after you click it. Until then, keep using your current password.
Notifications and channels
The Notifications table lets you choose which events you are notified about and through which channel — email, web push, Telegram or Slack. Under it, Channels is where you connect web push, Telegram and Slack. See Notifications.
Two-factor authentication
Sign-in to LocalUp is protected with a one-time code sent to your email. There is nothing to set up on this screen — see Two-factor authentication.
