Location groups are collections of locations that you define yourself — for example by region, manager or store format. Unlike brands, groups are free-form: a location can be in several groups. Use groups to filter the whole cabinet with the top-bar Filters, to pick locations quickly in bulk actions, rules and posts, and to compare parts of your business. Open Locations → Location groups in the sidebar.
Layout
The page shows one card per group with the group name and the number of locations in it. Each card has an Edit button and a delete (trash) button.
Click New group in the header to create a group. If you have no groups yet, the page shows No location groups yet with a Create your first group button.
Group dialog
The New group / Edit group dialog has two fields:
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Name | The group name, for example Manhattan stores. Required. |
| Locations | The locations in the group, chosen with the location picker. |
Click Create group or Save changes to save.
Location picker
The picker lets you build the selection from filters, individual picks or both:
- Search by name or address, and filter by Brands, Cities and Groups.
- Tick or untick individual locations in the list.
- Select all — select every location.
- Select matching — select everything matching the current filter.
- Invert — invert the selection within the current filter.
- Reset — clear the manual additions and exclusions.
- Clear all — clear the filter and the selection.
A summary above the buttons shows how many locations are selected by filter, added manually or excluded.
The group stores the locations that were selected when you saved it. Locations added to your account later are not added to the group automatically — edit the group to include them.
Deleting a group
Click the trash icon on a group card and confirm with Delete group. The locations themselves are not affected. This cannot be undone.
Where groups are used
- The top-bar Filters → Location group narrows every page to the group.
- On the Locations list, Bulk actions → Location group adds or removes selected locations.
- When inviting a teammate, you can limit their access to certain groups.
