LocalUp uses AI to save you time on routine work with reviews and content. There is no separate AI screen: AI buttons and settings appear right where you need them — in the review list, the post editor, auto-reply rules and brand settings.
AI is set up for your account by your agency. If you don't see AI buttons (for example AI generate under a review), AI is not available for your account — contact your agency.
What AI can do
| Feature | Where to find it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Reply suggestions | Reviews → Reply → AI generate | Drafts a reply to a review in the review's language. You edit it and send it yourself. See Generate replies with AI. |
| Review insights | Reviews → AI summary | A chat about the reviews matching your current filters. Ask your own question or use a preset: Summarize this period, What are the top complaints?, Suggest reply improvements. |
| Topics and sentiment | Reviews → Tags & Topics | New reviews are analysed automatically: their sentiment and the topics they mention. You can guide topic detection with a short instruction per topic. See Tags and topics. |
| AI auto-replies | Reviews → Auto-replies | A rule with the AI reply mode answers matching reviews automatically, following your instruction. See Auto-replies. |
| Post writing | Posts → New post → Write with AI | Drafts the post title, text and call to action from your description or a template. See Schedule a post. |
| Image generation | Posts → Generate image with AI | Creates an image for a post from a description or from the post text. |
| Brand description | Brands → brand editor | Generates a brand description from the brand's website. See Brands. |
AI credits
Every AI action uses AI credits. The cost of each action is shown on the AI credits page under Cost per task. A few rules:
- If an AI request fails, no credits are used.
- Template replies and template-based auto-replies are free — only AI-generated text uses credits.
- When credits are used up or AI is paused, AI buttons show a message such as "AI is temporarily unavailable" and the rest of the cabinet keeps working. Contact your agency to restore AI.
Good to know
- You stay in control. Suggested replies and posts are only drafts — nothing is published until you click Send or save the post. Only auto-reply rules publish without a person, and only when you have turned them on.
- Language. Reply suggestions are written in the language of the review. The reply editor shows the expected language, for example "Reply language: Polish".
- Review text is treated as data. Text from reviews is passed to the AI as content to analyse, not as instructions, so a review can't make the AI do something else.
