How-to

Run a QR review campaign

Create QR codes and tracked links, choose one of three visitor flows and update existing campaigns without reprinting.

QR codes and tracked links open the visitor experience selected for the campaign. Choose a direct Google review, our form with a Google offer, or our form only.

Before you start:

  • Review collection must be enabled for your account (the Collect reviews item is in the sidebar).
  • Google options require a Google review URL for the location.

Steps

  1. Open Reviews → Collect reviews and switch to the QR codes tab.
  2. Click New QR campaign.
  3. Enter a Campaign name, for example "Table tents — summer". It is used as the file name prefix and shown in the statistics.
  4. Under Locations, select the locations that need a QR code. Each location gets its own code.
  5. Click Next: visitor experience, choose one of the three modes on the separate screen, then click Create campaign.
  6. On the new campaign card, click Download ZIP. The archive contains a PNG QR code per location and an Excel index that tells you which code belongs to which location.
  7. Print the codes — on table tents, receipts, stickers or the front desk — and place each one at its own location.

Tip: Prefer a link instead of a printed code (for an email, SMS or social post)? Use the Links tab and New link campaign — you get a tracked link per location and can export them with Download XLSX.

Check that it worked

Scan a code and check that it opens the selected experience. In direct mode Google opens; in either form mode our form opens. Google options require a Google review URL for the location.

Then watch the Overview tab. Reviews left within 10 minutes of a scan for the same location are counted as Attributed reviews, and Conversion shows how many scans turn into reviews.

Troubleshooting

  • "Pick at least one location". Select one or more locations before creating the campaign.
  • Scans are counted but no reviews are attributed. Only reviews that arrive within 10 minutes of a scan for the same location are attributed. Reviews left later still appear on the Reviews screen, just not in the campaign statistics.
  • A printed code stopped working. The campaign was probably deleted — deleting a campaign disables its codes. Create a new campaign and reprint.

Visitor experience and existing campaigns

Creation has two screens: enter the campaign name and select locations, then click Next: visitor experience. On the second screen choose a mode and click Create campaign. Back returns to the location selection without losing your settings.

  • Directly to Google Maps — count the visit and open Google’s review form.
  • Our form, then offer Google — save private feedback, then offer Google with automatic text copying and a copy button.
  • Our form only — save private feedback and show thanks, without a Google offer.

To change an existing QR or link campaign, open Campaign settings on its card, choose a mode and click Save settings. The same campaign, tracking links, printed QR codes, statistics and existing downloads are retained. The saved mode is used on the next opening of the link; you do not need to recreate the campaign or reprint anything. Cancel discards unsaved changes.
