A store locator helps visitors of your website find the nearest location: a list of locations with a map, and optionally a separate page for every location. The Store locator screen is where you configure it and get the code or DNS settings to put it on your site.
Open it from the sidebar: Locations → Store locator. If you don't see the item, the store locator is not enabled for your account — ask your account manager.
Layout
The left column holds six numbered settings sections. The right column shows the code snippet (or DNS settings), a summary and the Save & publish button. Nothing changes on the public locator until you click Save & publish.
1. Connection type
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| JS widget | An embeddable script that renders the location list and map right on a page of your website. |
| SEO subdomain (CNAME) | A separate site on your subdomain (for example stores.example.com) with server-side rendering, a dedicated page per location and schema.org/LocalBusiness structured data. Good for search engines. |
2. Website domain
Enter the domain without http:// and without a path:
- For the JS widget — the domain the widget will be embedded on, for example
example.com. - For the SEO subdomain — the subdomain you will point to the locator with a CNAME record, for example
stores.example.com. Each location then gets its own address like/{city}/{store-code}.
The domain is required to publish. It only says where the locator lives: the locator's public address (its Public slug, also used in the embed code) is assigned on the first publish and does not change when you edit the domain later.
For an SEO subdomain, a Domain verification block shows the status of the domain: Waiting for DNS, Verifying, Active or Failed, with the DNS records to create and a Check now button.
3. Location source
- Brand — all non-closed locations of the selected brand are included.
- Location list — pick locations one by one or by filter.
The summary shows how many locations end up in the locator (Locations in locator).
4. Fields in the location list
Choose what each entry in the list shows: Name, Address, Phone, Rating, Review count and the "Get directions" button.
5. Fields on the location page
The same fields plus Latest reviews (5), Latest photos (5) and Location description. With the SEO subdomain, every location page also carries JSON-LD structured data (name, address, coordinates, phone, rating, opening hours).
6. Interface languages
Tick the languages the locator is available in and choose the Default language. Only languages enabled for your account are listed; contact your agency to add another one.
Snippet, preview and summary
- Embed snippet (JS widget) — the code to paste into your website. It appears after the first Save & publish. Click Copy.
- DNS settings (SEO subdomain) — the CNAME record to create and the address the site will be available at once DNS is verified.
- Open public preview — opens the published locator in a new tab. It is available once the locator is saved and published.
- Summary — type, domain, public slug, source, number of locations, list and page fields, and languages.
