Brands

Group your locations by brand, with a logo, cover, website and description, and set brand-wide categories and AI instructions.

A brand is the commercial name a group of your locations operates under. A company can have several brands — for example a coffee chain and a separate restaurant line. Brands help you filter the cabinet, keep shared information in one place and give AI replies a consistent tone. Open Locations → Brands in the sidebar: the Brands item sits right under Locations.

Layout

The page shows a card for each brand. Each card has the brand's cover image and logo, its name, website and the start of its description, plus edit (pencil) and delete (trash) buttons.

Click New brand in the header to create a brand. If you have no brands yet, the page shows No brands yet with a Create your first brand button.

Brand dialog

The New brand / Edit dialog has these fields:

FieldWhat it means
LogoA square image. After choosing a file you can crop it (1:1). Minimum 500×500 px, maximum file size 5 MB.
CoverA wide banner image. You crop it to 16:9. Minimum 480×270 px, maximum file size 5 MB.
NameRequired. The brand name, for example Acme Coffee.
WebsiteThe brand's website; must be a valid URL starting with https://.
DescriptionUp to 500 characters.

When AI is available for your account and a valid website is entered, a sparkle button next to Description generates the description from the website. Generation runs in the background; the result appears in the field, and you can edit it before saving. AI generation uses AI credits — see AI credits.

Click Create (or Save when editing).

Brand settings page

When you open a brand from global search, you get its full settings page (Edit brand):

  • Identity and Contact — description, Website and WhatsApp.
  • Google Business categories — Primary category and Additional categories for the brand. Apply to all locations sets the primary category on every location of the brand.
  • AI configuration — AI instructions for review replies (tone, signature, things to mention or avoid) and Topics to detect in new reviews.
  • Linked chain — link the brand to a chain known to Google, or remove the link.

Click Save to keep your changes.

Assigning locations to a brand

You assign locations to a brand from the Locations list: select the locations, then choose Bulk actions → Change brand.

Deleting a brand

Click the trash icon on a brand card and confirm. Locations assigned to the brand are detached from it but not deleted. This cannot be undone.
